My Story

32 years ago my youngest sister was born and she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy 3 years later. She began to have seizures within years of this diagnosis. It was 20 years later before she was diagnosed with polymicrogyria. As an experienced medical researcher, I would like to further research of this condition and to increase awareness and visibility of polymicrogyria in the medical and research communities. As the founder of Polymicrogyria Research I want to improve outcomes for my sister, my family and for all families living with polymicrogyria globally.
